RESUME

Anatole Delhay was born in Sydney Australia in 1978. His family relocated to Zimbabwe in 1980 and he lived and worked on the family farm untill 2001.

After which, he moved to India to establish a venom extraction facility and reptile park. He intended to import snakes from around the world to extract venom for sale to serum institutes. Unfortunately he had to abandon the project and he returned to Australia to persue his passion and he intends continue to publish herpotological literature. He now runs a snake removal business and is considering to study zoology at James Cook University. He has written and published the Encyclopedia of Snake Species printed in the United States of America and United Kingdom. He intends to continue to write books on herpetoculture and his up coming projects include, Ophidea Universum Vol 1 - Viperid Snakes, Ophidea Universum Vol 2 - Elapid Snakes & Related Species, Ophidea Universum Vol 3 - Boid Snakes & Related Species, Ophidea Universum Vol 4 - Colubrid Snakes, Ophidea Universum Vol 5 - Scolecophid Snakes.

His interest in reptiles started at an early age, which later developed from a hobbyist to professional herpetologist. He has been handling reptiles for 23 years and specializes in venomous species of which he has seventeen years experience.
